CURRENT RELEASE

What you can use today

Create a business workspace, configure your Customer Assistant and tasks, and connect Google Calendar, Sheets, Drive and Gmail accounts. Google account connections are available to permitted users while the app is being tested.

Connecting an account does not start automation. Website chat and automatic appointment booking are not enabled in the public release. Gmail message processing and sending, spreadsheet tasks and Drive document processing are still in development.

Calendar connection setup checks availability access. Drive setup checks API access, Gmail setup checks mailbox profile access, and Sheets setup checks granted permissions. We do not describe these checks as completed customer workflows.

Sales, Finance and Reputation Assistants are future plans. No release dates or business outcomes are guaranteed. Read about Google connections.

CUSTOMER ASSISTANT · PLANNED TASKS

From the first question to the next appointment.

These are intended capabilities under development, not a list of automations currently running in the public release.

01 / Answer

Give every enquiry a helpful reply

Answer questions about your services, opening hours and service area using the business information you provide.

02 / Understand

Collect the details you need

Ask about the service, location and customer’s requirements, then collect contact details so your team has context.

03 / Book

Turn a conversation into an appointment

Check Google Calendar, offer available times and create a booking with a confirmation in the website conversation.

04 / Personalise

Make it part of your business

Give your Customer Assistant a name, share your business knowledge and choose the tasks you want it to handle.

05 / Approve

Keep the decisions that need you

Choose which actions happen automatically, which need your approval and which your assistant cannot take.

06 / Review

Know what happened

Review conversations, customer details, bookings and important actions in your workspace. Pick up with the context already there.

MAKE IT YOURS

Built around how you already work.

You know your business. Share what matters, connect the tools you use and choose where a helping hand makes the biggest difference.

  1. 01

    Share how your business works

Add your services, business information and the details your Digital Employee needs to do its job.

  2. 02

Give your first employee a clear role

Start with the Customer Assistant. Choose the tasks it handles and the information it should collect.

  3. 03

Set permissions and connect your tools

Decide what happens automatically and what needs your approval. For customer enquiries and appointments, add website chat and connect Google Calendar.

  4. 04

Stay informed as work gets done

Review tasks, activity and approvals in your workspace. The wider vision extends this shared oversight as new specialist roles are added.

CONTROL BUILT IN

Delegate the task.
Keep the final say.

Clear permissions and visible activity are the foundation for every Digital Employee. You can configure these boundaries now; automated actions depend on the availability of each workflow.

01

Let it handle the routine

Allow suitable tasks to run automatically, such as answering common questions or creating an available appointment.

02

Ask you when it matters

Require your approval where a decision needs your judgement. Keep actions outside its remit switched off.

03

See the full picture

Use Activity to understand the steps taken and your workspace to review enquiries, bookings and approvals.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Before you get started.

What is a Digital Employee?

A Digital Employee has a defined business role, a set of tasks and permissions you control. Innocept starts with the Customer Assistant. Our wider vision includes specialist roles for sales, finance, reputation and everyday operations.

Is Innocept only for customer service?

No. Innocept is a digital workforce platform for the wider business. The Customer Assistant is the first role; Sales, Finance and Reputation Assistants are part of our expansion direction, alongside shared activity feeds, task history and monitoring.

Is this suitable for my business?

Innocept is designed for small and local businesses that need support with routine work across a busy day. Trades, home services, studios, salons and consultants can start with customer enquiries and appointments. Tell us about the other tasks you want help with too.

Where do customers use the Customer Assistant?

Website chat is the planned first channel. It is not enabled in the current public release.

Which calendar does the Customer Assistant use?

Google Calendar connection setup is available. Automatic appointment booking is not yet enabled in the public release.

What if a question needs my judgement?

You can configure task permissions. Human handover and approval behaviour must be validated for each workflow before it is enabled.

Do I need technical experience?

No technical knowledge is needed to describe your business or choose tasks. Adding chat to your website may involve the person who manages your site; we can discuss that during setup.

How do I discuss pricing and setup?

Contact our team with a little about your business and the support you need. We can discuss a suitable setup and pricing before you decide.

Google connections and your data

You choose which account to connect for each product. We request separate consent for each connection and store the account label and connection status in your business workspace. Access credentials stay on the server.

  • Calendar: requests event and availability permissions; setup performs a free/busy check. Automatic booking is not enabled in this public release.
  • Sheets: requests spreadsheet read/write permission and validates the grant. No spreadsheet tasks run automatically.
  • Drive: requests read-only Drive permission and checks API access with a bounded file-ID request. Document ingestion is not implemented.
  • Gmail: requests read-only mailbox permission and checks the mailbox profile. It does not currently ingest messages or send email.

The Google consent screen describes the account-wide permissions requested, which are broader than the connection checks currently performed. No email, document or spreadsheet automation starts when you connect. Account connection does not mean Google has verified or endorsed Innocept.

Disconnect accounts in your business’s Connections page. Read our privacy policy for data handling and deletion information and our terms of service.
